Welcome to our new library blog, Coffee + Cardigans, a cozy community space for informational and recreational ideas!
We at the Faulkner County Library are so excited to bring in new content for you. Our mission is to open access to ideas and communities through shared collections, shared spaces, and shared activities; now, we can expand upon that!
Why the name “Coffee + Cardigans”, you might ask? Well because, let’s be honest–aside from loving books, many of us librarians enjoy a strong cup of coffee in hand and a comfy cardigan to wear as we work to promote intellectual freedom and serve our patrons. We also love a good alliteration that’s easy to remember, and hence our blog was born.
Our goal with this blog is to keep you up-to-date on the latest library news, and hopefully inspire you to get involved, support what we do, or simply try checking out that new bestseller you’ve been eyeing on our shelf but weren’t sure about! We are literacy enthusiasts, after all. 🙂
