The Faulkner County Library celebrated its 90th anniversary and the 30th of its current location in May 2025! We serve a population of 129,000+, and are home to a thriving art and business culture in Conway, where our main headquarters is located. One of the city's largest annual events, Toad Suck Daze, has been held since 1982 and is one of the most popular events of the county. The three day community festival incorporates live music, food and craft vendors, and amusement rides during the first weekend of May.

The Faulkner-Van Buren Regional Library System will be closed in observance of the following holidays:

Christmas 2025:

Early closure at 5:00pm on Tuesday, December 23
Closed Wednesday, December 24 and will reopen Monday, December 29

New Year’s 2026:

Early closure at 5:00pm on Tuesday, December 30
Closed Wednesday, December 31 through Thursday, January 1

*Early closures are for Conway branch only
