The Faulkner County Library Teen Volunteer Program gives teens the chance to support the library, strengthen programs and services, and give back to the community. Volunteers gain valuable experience, build connections, develop skills, and enjoy the satisfaction of promoting literacy and library services.
Why Volunteer?
Volunteering at the library can be used for school volunteer credit, on job & college applications, and resumes. Successful volunteering can also lead to positive letters of recommendation from library staff that you work with.
Volunteer Eligibility
Volunteers for the teen volunteer program must be 13-18 years of age.
An ideal teen volunteer is:
· Self-motivated
· Able to follow directions
· Willing to abide by all library rules and policies
· Dependable.
We will count on you so please carefully consider that the time commitment you are agreeing to will fit your schedule!
